Track Exercises Performances
Introduction
Training should lead to improving your performances across a decent amount of exercises. Flex quest offers you a few ways to control that.
First, go to the exercise details section by clicking on an exercise name to reveal the different options available to you.
Rep Max (RM) calculation
As you may know, there are several formulas to calculate the 1 rep max. At Flex Quest, we decided to use the most common formulas and average the result.
The 1RM is calculated using your all time best set (giving the highest 1RM value). For instance, if you perform a set of 5 reps with a weight that gives a 1RM of 100, and a set of 1 rep with a weight of 110, it is likely that the 1RM from the set of 5 reps will be higher than 110. Therefore, the 1RM used for all stats will be the one from the set of 5 repetitions.
Rep Max table
The rep max table shows you the weight you should be able to lift from your 1RM to your 10RM.
Rep Max table (percentages)
The next tab shows you the weight matching specific percentages of your 1RM.
Rep Max evolution graph
The next and last tab shows you the 1RM for each workout where you performed that exercise.
The 1RM value is theoretical, you may find some cases where it may not be achievable, and some other times where you were able to outperform it. It is given for indication only to help you organize your sets but please lift with limited risks of injuries.
